Do you know what unusual new transport will be running between Sarralbe and Kalhausen?

The aim of this new and highly unusual form of transport is to revitalise the small railway lines. Here’s what it should look like. Draisy. That’s the name we’ve come up with for this light train, which is due to run on the Sarralbe-Kalhausen line between now and 2027. Conceived by Alsatian industrialist Lohr and the SNCF group, the aim is to reopen the Sarreguemines-Bitche-Niederbronn line. The train is currently being designed, and a full-scale model was presented at the French Regions Congress in Strasbourg in September 2024.
