Draisy, the future light train designed by Lohr to reinvest in short lines

The Alsatian group Lohr is working in a consortium with the SNCF and three other partners on a “hybrid” light train capable of reducing the operating costs of passenger transport on small regional lines, which are little or not operated at all.

Selected by the government in a call for expressions of interest, this project, called Draisy, could result in a first prototype by the end of 2024.
