The project for a future multimodal platform at the port of Sète (Hérault) is moving forward: the European Commission has authorised a subsidy of €3 million. This new structure, which can be adapted to existing wagons, will enable heavy goods vehicle trailers to be transhipped onto rail tracks, before being exported in greater numbers.
