Hybrid and electric trains tested as a way out of diesel

France’s first hybrid train is being tested on the Strasbourg-Sarreguemines line. The project was launched by the SNCF group and Alstom, with the support of the Grand Est, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Occitanie and Centre-Val-de-Loire regions.
