SNCF bets on Draisy, an electric train dedicated to small rural lines

The SNCF announced on Wednesday 25 September that a miniature electric train, called Draisy, will be deployed in rural areas that are no longer served.

This is good news. The SNCF has decided to go back to conquering small railway lines and serving towns that have been neglected for years. On Wednesday 25 September, the company presented Draisy, a miniature electric train designed to open up rural areas from 2028.
