The Grand Est region rewards companies for their transformation

Rewarding successful examples of industrial, environmental and digital transition. The ‘Grand Est Transformation Prize’, held on 14 October in Reims (Marne), singled out ten projects by regional companies.

Lohr in Hangenbieten (Bas-Rhin) has equipped itself with a new laser cutting machine to cope with a rapid increase in orders for one of its products, the car carrier. This was a major change for production, and the teams prepared for it a year in advance. ‘We reached full capacity in barely a month, with a 40% productivity gain. We had to demonstrate the profitability of this investment in the field’, explains Nicolas Bertrand, Industrial Operations Manager.
